About: Julissa S. Germosen

Julissa Germosen is the Services Sales Representative reporting to the US Enterprise Services Group of the Microsoft Corporation in Redmond, Washington. Ms. Germosen is responsible for the sales, marketing and delivery strategies and execution of software development services engagements for the US ISV Partner Community. Prior to this role, Ms. Germosen was the Partner Account Manager for the New York and New Jersey Small, Mid-Market Solutions and Partners (SMS&P) organization at Microsoft Corporation. She was responsible for developing Microsoft’s next generation partner community that will enable and support delivering over $360M in revenue to Microsoft. Her responsibilities include partner capacity and gap analysis, creating sales, marketing and technical readiness strategies and execution. Prior to this role, Ms. Germosen held other sales and partner channel roles at Microsoft. She has been recognized as a leader and has received several awards for outstanding contribution including “Vice President” and “Above and Beyond” Awards. Prior to Microsoft, Ms. Germosen was Director of Sales with Alpha Resources Corporation, a consulting organization. As Director, Ms. Germosen was responsible for existing and new business development. She successfully led the team to win the State of NJ contract for computer training for over 30,000 State of New Jersey employees. She was also featured in the Star-Ledger and Home News Tribune for creating a customized computer training program for the City of Perth Amboy Housing Authority residents. Prior to Director, Ms. Germosen served as Sales Manager for the Government and Education Division of Alpha Resources. She acquired the City of Newark, the largest municipality in the State of New Jersey, as a client. For the City of Newark, Ms. Germosen won several custom application development and infrastructure projects. As a member of the Associate Alumnae of Douglass College at Rutgers University, Ms. Germosen established the Latina Leadership Potential Award, a scholarship for Hispanic women, the first of its kind at Rutgers University. As a result, she was appointed the Latina Alumnae Network Chairperson by the Associate Alumnae of Douglass College. As a board member for Latinos in Information Sciences and Technology Association New Jersey Technology Council, Ms. Germosen was responsible for the interview and selection process for the Young Achiever Scholarship Award. The scholarship seeks to recognize a college student of Latino descent majoring in computer sciences or technology. Ms. Germosen is passionate about giving back and encouraging the Latino youth community and helping them realize their full potential. She is frequently requested for speaking engagements. She has spoken at Microsoft NYC DigiGirlz Conference, the Hispanic Professionals Network Group and Latina Alumnae Network. She has been recognized for her community service work from HOLA-Microsoft, Microsoft’s Latino Affinity group. Born in the Dominican Republic, Ms. Germosen attended Douglass College at Rutgers University completing her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Criminology. She lives in New Jersey with her daughter.
